Good Morning Skiers, Snowboarders, Snowshoers, and Fat Bikers!
The Nordic trails and ski slopes were groomed last night under a clear sky. Temperatures at 7am this morning were 34deg at Ski Hill and 31deg at the IRT. The forecast for today calls for a cloudy morning with increasing temperatures and a slight chance of precipitation. Daytime highs near 40 are expected.
The grooming staff reported sticky snow last night but was able to get it to come out great after the temps dropped a little.
The IRT - groomed for Skate and Classic. Aaron groomed fresh skate and set new Classic on all trails and reports that it should be great.
The SH - groomed for Skate and Classic. Kross groomed skate and set new Classic on all trails and bonus loops and says despite the temps the trails came out sweet!
The GC – last groomed on Sunday. Skate and Classic are leftovers but are scheduled to be groomed tonight for tomorrow.
Peshastin Mill Site – groomed last Sunday and sporting a single skate lane. We hope to be able to groom this once per week on Sundays, and snow permitting, will get a Classic track set. Did we mention - Dog Friendly! Note - we're working on getting the bathrooms back to a maintained state, but currently you're on your own.
