Ok, last big push of a week! I know many of you are starting spring sports, and we will miss having you with us, but anyone is welcome to practice with us this week!!!
Seniors had a great showing this weekend at the WNC finals! We had 9 skiers and lots of podium finishes! Younger LWSC skiers did us proud as well. Thanks to the Ellensburg crew who did a terrific job!
Skiers heading to JNs will leave Friday and Saturday-best of luck to you!!
Senior party will be on Tues. March 3 6:00 pm at the Loewen’s house! Skiers bring $5 to contribute and parents $10. We will celebrate the season! Directions were sent last week via remind! We will also have a whole LWSC party after everyone returns from the U14 trip and JNs.
FOCUS: mental prep, breathing prep, uphill/downhills
Mon. March 2-on your own. If you took Sunday off, do a 1.5 hr. L1 with 5X 15 second L5 bursts spaced at least 4’ apart. Go through your breathing warm up and activities. Begin visualizing your races at JNs if going
Tues. March. 3- 4:00 pm-skate skis-meet at Mission Ridge-we will practice up at Mission Ridge for some altitude/uphill/downhill training-skate skis. L-worth kids-meet at MSPT right after school with plan to leave at 3:15-RSVP to let me know if you need a ride plz! I can bring a bigger car if needed!.
Wed March 4-probably classic ski at Plain-stay tuned!!!
Thurs. March 5-may be easy exercise on your own!
Fri. March 6-skiers off to JN!!! Good Luck!!!
