Hey Skiers! Getting cooler out there. We are continuing with our preseason training. Most are done with fall sports, but the Leavenworth Girls Soccer team is on the the State tournament on Friday!! Go Rory and Stella!!!
For the rest of us, we will have an organized practice on Wed. Nov. 20th at the Ski Hill at 3:45-5:00
We will do strength, agility and bounding. Be there ready to go at 3:45!!
Here is a suggested training plan for the rest of the week:
Monday:Run the New Uphill Trail (NUT) at Ski Hill with poles, come down Rosie-Stay in L1-2
Tues: Roller ski (checking to see if someone is available to go with you)-start in the Osborn parking lot doing agility around the lines, and corners, then rollerski X 1-1.5 hrs. L1 with 4X 5' L3 intervals-5' L1 between
Wed: Ski hill training
Thurs: Run regular trails at Ski Hill, short bursts for speed for the last 30' of each hill climb-up and over hard-ski poles
Fri: Hike or Run up Icicle Ridge-try quick feet on the way down L1-2
